The Savoy Buildings opposite South Parade Pier housed all kinds of delights for holidaymakers in Southsea in the decades after the 2nd World War. In later years it became a night club - starting with Nero's - before closing its doors. Harry Redknapp bought it and last summer it was demolished, but the memories remain.
