The Ragged Kids March

The Ragged Kids March

We are the ragged kids
and we live a ragged life
I have a ragged dad
and he’s got a ragged wife
We wear our ragged clothes
and we eat our ragged groul
and learn our ragged lessons
at a very ragged school

We don’t care what life throws at us
we’re never any fuss
Wees not the upper crust
and when walk down St Mary’s Street
Everything in life is smelling sweet

We are the ragged kids
and we live a ragged life
I have a ragged dad
and he’s got a ragged wife
We wear our ragged clothes
and we eat our ragged groul
and we learn our ragged lessons
at a very ragged school

We don’t know when we’ll get a bite to eat
we sleep out on the street
but we’d love a little heat
and when walk down St Mary’s Street
Everything in life is smelling sweet
