A comment from Facebook The Time has come to remember the greatest UK band that never “made it”. It was in August 1980 (40 years ago!) that I met Gosport's The Time in a pub on Salisbury Plain. The history of The Time will be set out in the Don’t Ask Me podcast that will be broadcast on Wednesday 9 December 2020(further details soon), but in the meantime, here’s something exciting: The first ever presence of the band on You Tube. Because they never officially released anything on vinyl, nothing by them has ever been available on social media or streaming services.
