South Downe Musical SocietyIn the summer of 2000, I joined the South Downe Musical Society, intending only to assist back stage if required, with the production of "Anything Goes" in November of that year. It was an eye opener and a crash course education in an area of entertainment I had not previously known much about. The cast and crew were great and very helpful and friendly, and the whole experience of being involved was very hard work but wonderfully satisfying. After a short while, I decided to audition for a my place in the chorus. I have been "on stage" in a number of their shows. But, in 2005 I decided my days on the theatrical stage were past, so I have now left the Society. Here's a short list of my SDMS credits so far;-
